GOAL: To strengthen and build emergency response capacity within TEERS member teams and associated NGHO's (Non-Government Humanitarian Organizations) worldwide, through efforts which include training seminars and courses, support for operational member follow-up activities and initiatives, coordination, sharing of resources and the centralization of international disaster management and response team training.

TEERS-international welcomes you as a new Supporting Member and as one of our international group of Environmental Observers - the `eyes and ears' of TEERS. We are not environmental activists. We are environmental pro-activists.

Our goal and mission is to save lives during a major disaster and to correct environmental problems, man-made or natural in cause. We use all of our resources and skills to work with a known source of a problem, such as a polluter, to assist in rectifying the situation. Working with people, governments and industry has always yielded more productive results than working against them.
